Song of the week

My favorite song of the week is Eric Church’s country ballad “I Love Your Love the Most” from his CD “Carolina.” He is a native of Granite Falls, N.C. I like the song because he lists a lot of things he loves (cold beer, George Strait songs, Saturday football) that I also love. It’s a good All-American country tune. Enjoy!

  1. Erin: I looked at your website for the first time and was impressed. I was really pleased with the photo of the locomotive stopping for water beside Moore Street and near where Wenger’s is presently located; also the Railroad House is clearly seen in the background where it originally stood. I am going to try and save the photo because I am a big train buff and this particular photo I had not seen; if you have access to any more of them, perhaps from Luman Moore’s old collection, many now in the hands of Jimmy Haire, please let me know. I also have some that I would be happy to share with you for a future edition. Thank you for all of your good work and interest in Sanford and Lee County. Go Heels and best wishes Richard Hayes
